Biography

Larry Crider & 4 H.I.S. Glory: Spreading the Gospel through Music

Larry Crider is a passionate worshiper whose love for God and innate musical talent have converged to create a dynamic music ministry known as Larry Crider & 4 H.I.S. Glory. With a history steeped in devotion and musical prowess, Larry and his ensemble have captivated the Gospel music industry since their debut in 2015 with their EP “Time To Say Yes.” Their single, “Don’t Take Your Spirit,” further solidified their reputation as a group that seamlessly blends smooth harmonies, exceptional songwriting, compelling vocal performances, and outstanding musicianship.

The journey of Larry Crider & 4 H.I.S. Glory began in 2013, and since then, the ensemble has achieved significant recognition, including numerous Gospel Award Nominations. These nominations spanned categories such as New Artist of the Year, Best Performance by Group/Duo, Contemporary Artist of the Year and others. While Larry Crider cherishes the industry accolades and the opportunity to collaborate with Gospel legends like Karen Clark Sheard, Tramaine Hawkins, and Byron Cage, and others. His primary goal remains unchanged: to reach the lost for Christ through his music.

Larry’s musical journey started in his church’s youth choir, where he honed his vocal skills. Over time, he expanded his repertoire to include playing instruments like the drums and piano. However, it was during his time at Largo High School in Largo, Maryland, under the tutelage of the renowned Jeremiah Murphy, that Larry’s musical talents flourished. He became a multifaceted musician, excelling not only as a vocalist and instrumentalist but also as a songwriter, composer, and arranger.

The training ground at Largo High School provided Larry Crider with the experience and confidence to one day establish his own Gospel ensemble, Larry Crider & 4 H.I.S. Glory. Comprising dedicated young men and women committed to “living out the call and impacting lives for the better through song,” this diverse group united to share the Gospel message through music. Their initial project, “Time To Say Yes,” gained a devoted following in the Nation’s Capital.
